I am from Middlesbrough and have spent my radio career dotting around the UK on over 30 radio stations, having started as a schoolie on Radio Tees before going on to Radio 1. I have won several awards, but only ever been to pick one up- the Sony Gold for Britain's Best Breakfast Show.
I have always lived back home in the North East wherever my work has taken me and that includes working with British Forces around the world.
I now own and run radio stations around the UK including the British Army's Garrison FM.You'll hear me on matchdays at the Riverside Stadium. I've been a Boro fan since my first match aged 4 and have done the announcing at an England game and the UEFA Cup final, as well as the fans square for the latter and the warm up at our Carling Cup Final win.
Century is a station I have always listened to and it's great to be part of a real personality team, plus the coffees good!

What was the best thing about summer
The sunshine and white wine.

Catherine wheel- I enjoy going for a spin.
What’s your best tip for keeping warm in the winter?
Stay inside.
Who is your favourite cartoon character?
Scooby Doo. Was top TV watch when I was a kid and having circumvented the ScrappyDoo era, my kids like him too.
What is your favourite line from a song?
Been driving all night my hand's wet on the wheel- Golden Earring's Radar Love.
If you were a tool, which one would you be?
A rechargeable drill
How would you or others describe your dancing?
Geography teacher is what others have said, but I would say World Disco Dancing Champion 2007.
If there was one personal item you couldn’t live without, what would it be?
My mobile I suppose.
Did you do anything to earn your pocket money when you were a kid?
Paper round- helped get me my first cassette recorder.
If you could take part in any tv programme, which one would it be?
Match of the Day. I would move the Boro up from last or second last in the running order.
What are you most scared of?
Boro losing.

That I look like that Mark Page who used to do Popspot on the telly (ages ago).
